Welcome to Vancouver Funeral Florals. By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Vancouver Funeral Florals provides funeral and memorial floral arrangement services, including:
- Custom floral design for funeral and memorial services
- Delivery to funeral homes, churches, cemeteries, and private venues
- On-site placement and styling (when permitted by venue)
- Coordination with funeral directors and venue staff
2. Ordering and Payment
Quotes: All pricing is provided as estimates. Final pricing is confirmed after consultation and may vary based on flower availability, seasonal factors, and specific design requirements.
Payment: Payment is due prior to delivery unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept major credit cards, cash, and checks.
Deposits: A deposit may be required for large orders. Deposit amounts will be specified in your quote.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to fees to cover materials already purchased.
Changes: We will make every effort to accommodate changes to orders. However, changes requested within 24 hours of delivery may not be possible depending on flower availability and design timeline.
4. Delivery
Delivery Times: We coordinate delivery times directly with funeral homes, churches, and venues. Specific delivery time requests will be accommodated when possible but cannot always be guaranteed.
Delivery Locations: We deliver to funeral homes, churches, cemeteries, and private venues within our service area. Additional fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
Access: The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and that venue staff are informed of the delivery.
5. Floral Quality and Substitutions
Quality: We use only fresh, high-quality flowers and materials. All arrangements are professionally designed by experienced florists.
Substitutions: Due to seasonal availability, we may need to substitute flowers or materials. We will always substitute with items of equal or greater value and maintain the overall style, color scheme, and value of the arrangement.
Perishable Nature: Flowers are perishable. While we ensure freshness at delivery, we cannot guarantee longevity once delivered, as this depends on venue conditions.
6. Venue Coordination
Venue Rules: We comply with all venue policies regarding floral placement, setup, and removal. Some venues have restrictions on floral types, placement, or setup assistance.
Setup Assistance: On-site setup and placement is provided when permitted by the venue. If venue policies prohibit our staff from entering certain areas, we will coordinate drop-off with venue staff.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate delivery information (date, time, location, contact person)
- Informing us of any venue-specific requirements or restrictions
- Coordinating with funeral home or venue regarding our delivery
- Notifying us immediately of any issues with delivery or arrangement quality
8. Liability
Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the floral arrangement. We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by venue access issues, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- Damage to flowers after delivery due to venue conditions (heat, cold, lack of water)
- Inability to place flowers in specific locations due to venue restrictions
- Emotional distress or consequential damages
9. Photography and Marketing
We may photograph our floral arrangements for marketing purposes. We will not include any identifying information about the deceased or family without explicit permission.
10. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information provided to us is kept confidential and used only to fulfill your order.
11. Refunds and Complaints
Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with your arrangement, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a partial refund, replacement arrangement, or credit toward future services.
No Refunds: Once flowers have been delivered and accepted by the venue, refunds are generally not provided unless there is a significant quality issue.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, supplier failures, or public health emergencies.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Washington.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
